the jelly archive

A rather curious collection of colour.

An interactive and theatrical exhibition that was part of Wellington's 'Welly on a Plate' Festival. The jelly display explored the wobbly treat from an architectural standpoint, using technology and processes usually used to design objects and buildings.

The Jelly Archive told the nostalgic story
of one of New Zealand’s favourite desserts. The exhibition was a celebration of all things jelly: vintage moulds, recipes, personal memories and some dazzling jelly sculptures. It was set up to resemble a Victorian banquet dessert table and payed homage to the historic appreciation of jelly - as being ornate, sculptural and also eddible.
